In response to their anti-library lawsuit against the Internet Archive (blog.archive.org/2023/03/25/th…), here is my tiny stand.

As of now, I will never buy a new book published by Hachette, HarperCollins, Wiley, and Penguin Random House. I will source second-hand copies or borrow them from libraries, but never again pay for a new book that will put money into the hands of these content-hoarding corporations.

The Fight Continues

Today’s lower court decision in Hachette v. Internet Archive is a blow to all libraries and the communities we serve. This decision impacts libraries across the US who rely on controlled digital lending to connect their patrons with books online.
