Streetartwall. A mural depicting a historical figure from Sydney was sprayed onto the exterior wall of a narrow high-rise building over approx. 5 floors. Between tall modern buildings, a standing man in an old-fashioned grey suit and white shirt can be seen out of focus. The mural appears gray-metallic and blurred, as if behind frosted glass, and the figure can only be guessed at. This type of painting is the trademark of the artist Fintan Margee.
Info: The mural depicts the first elected Mayor of Sydney, John Hosking (1806-1882) who the lane is named after.
