Nostr is another decentralized social network. Wikipedia describes it as "primarily popular with Bitcoin users", and it was originally funded by a donation from former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

As we heard at #fediforum, an anti-trans "gender critical" fediverse developer (who recently left his job as Truth Social CTO) has written a "bridge" called Mostr that lets people on Nostr follow people on the fediverse (and vice versa). As a result, from what I hear, there are already lots of fedi posts on Nostr.
