I couldn't help but feel that #XKCD 1269 was relevant to the #selfhosted #Mastodon #fediverse.
A comic in the style of XKCD, titled "The Self-Hoster." Person #1: It took all weekend, but now that I have a Mastodon instance running in Docker behind a reverse proxy with cloud-provided media storage, I can enjoy interacting with a federated network of other users without compromising on privacy or content moderation. Person #2: Cool, what kinds of topics does your network discuss? Person #1: Our experiences self-hosting Mastodon instances, mostly.
