Tip: if you’re using the new GNOME Console and Fish shell, you don’t have to wait until the GNOME folks have colour schemes implemented if you want to customise yours.
fisher install FabioAntunes/base16-fish-shell
Then, in your console, type base16<tab> to see the list of different colour schemes you can try.

Unknown parent • • •It’s a built-in feature of GNOME Terminal (although far from ideal in usability if you want to set up your own custom scheme) and GNOME Console is still in beta. I’ve opened an issue asking them to reconsider the scope of the project given it’s going to be the default terminal app here:
