Vocalizer TTS for Android has been updated to version 3.8.2, with the following release notes: Updated and adapted app to target Android 14. Migrated to latest app billing library. Removed legacy code. Bug fixing and code optimization. #Android #TTS
@jpellis2008 "CodeFactory discontinued Eloquence because it required updates to support 64-bit systems. However, due to the low revenue generated from the sales, they decided it was not financially viable to continue development. Additionally, they no longer hold the license for Eloquence, which prevents them from resuming production even if circumstances changed. Unfortunately Eloquence for Android is not returning anytime soon.
I hope that this version quietly mitigates the drm-enduced speech crashes. Happy to see this be updated. Oddly enough for a 2024 update, the Nuance branding is still intact. You'd think it would have switched to Cerence by now.
