TILvids is a good PeerTube instance to consider, they host videos from content creators such as Nick at The Linux Experiment.

The Linux Experiment is an example of how videos can easily be hosted on YouTube and PeerTube allowing each person the option of where to view a video.

@kaputt You can watch YouTube via Invidious. We use it for public stuff, others like emails must be kept private. ;)

@kaputt lol not everybody knows invidious. Ad is ad, in your email as in a video. If you upload your videos to peertube, no need of invidious.
Uploading a video to youtube is still sending your data but also the data of your followers to Google.
