We're very fortunate that all Czech e-books are sold DRM-free. You can read them on any device without any hassle.

Unfortunately, as an owner of an old #Kindle I'm pretty much forced to buy English books on #Amazon. At least #Calibre / #DeDRM doesn't let me down and I can still read them on any device.

I promise I only use the books to train my LLM. And, unlike Meta, I actually purchased them.

@liskin KOReader doesn't solve my problem. My problem is that I cannot buy English ebooks without DRM. And buying it on Amazon, downloading it to my Kindle and then extracting it from Kindle and converting it to epub in Calibre is a proven way to get rid of DRM.
If some recommended me some smaller book shop where I could do reliably the same, it would at least partly solve my problem.
