It's not immediately obvious the "Find out more here" is a link to FSFE. It looks like a header to social networks buttons.

It is possible to maybe make some words in the article (e.g. "write") link to the same article?

@fsfe I created a EU login account, took the "Digital Europe Programme" survey and left a remark about the importance of foss. Now the world is going to be o.k. :)

free also means low barriers to adopt tools where local craftsmanship prevails over transatlantic shareholder value

from the perspective of the research community, only free software and open data formats allow effective data reuse. Also, only free and open source software allows to get an idea about what is really happening with our data.
