There was an #accessible #internet #radio app mentioned here the other day that people were saying was the best app for internet radio on iOS with VoiceOver. For the life of me I can't remember the name or even who posted it. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

@johann Ehh. Features that it looks like you can use but then turns out you can't until you pay for the app. Most apps are clearer about this. I also found broadcasts which seems to be similar but admittedly has less VoiceOver actions support and isn't as feature-ritch. Will try both of these further.

@rooktallon Yup, this was the one. Unfortunately I don't actually like it, it has less stations than broadcasts and seems more fiddly.

It's actually very hard to find one app these days because more and more organisations are making people use their own apps. For instance, the BBC streams are often not available if you want anything like live commentary, unless you use BBC Sounds. These days, my prefered way is to use Alexa, and just remember which skill I need for which station, but then I don't use radio for music any more

Honestly, using voice commands, it usually works well for me, when I am forced to use it. I hate using the phone for anything like that to be honest and I hate all the BBC apps. I used to like Ootunes, but i'm not sure it even works any more

@davetaylor2112 Well, broadcasts looks like a winner. Cheeper than Eter and lets you add 5 stations to favourites for free. Also seems to have the BBC stuff.
