Hey sorry, I've been away from my desk since about when you posted this question! Since you didn't get any answers that I see, I'm not sure if you're still experienceing this, but yes, Microsoft been making changes, not all for the better, in VSCode lately. Reporting the line & column number are currently working as expected for us, but alternate releases seem to fix, then re-break it. Best suggestion is to complain to Microsoft's Disability Answer Desk: microsoft.com/en-au/accessibil…
