Yesterday, I stopped at a charging station in Mořice. It was probably the best charging experience I've had so far. There were 14 400 kW chargers, sheltered, with a picnic area, and a bistro nearby. I later learned that it had opened just four days ago, and that it is the first charging station in the Czech Republic that also supports electric trucks.
Well done, #EON. This is another sign that #electromobility is gaining momentum here.

The #Feyree charger for our #ElectricVehicle that I ordered a month ago has finally arrived. It charges up to 230V/16A across three phases. The current can be regulated and the charger can be controlled from #HomeAssistant over Wi-Fi. It comes with a wall mount. It could very much do the job of a wallbox for 1/3 of the price.

Tonight's thought: The Magne Charge inductive EV charging system (J1773) makes a lot of sense in wet/dirty environments where a normal plug would be dangerous or just damage-prone. Farm equipment, boats, systems that need to autonomously plug and unplug are all good candidates.
Just because it didn't catch on with automotive uses doesn't mean it's worth dustbinning.
