My aunt is an ancestry nut and did some difficult tracing due to name misspellings etc and now I know my oldest American roots on the paternal side was a farmer from Germany who joined the north in the civil war for Wisconsin and my maternal side was a farmer from Germany who was regarded as a pioneer and founded a city in Iowa

No longer getting any attention from his Greenland invasion fantasies, Trump now threatens 100 percent tariffs on all Canadian goods, because Mark Carney is negotiating a trade deal with China, like every other country on the planet does regularly, including the US.

I hope we will reach a point where the free world agrees, that a Trump tariff attack on one nation is a Trump tariff attack on all. Let him feel the consequences of his isolationist, America first agenda.

So apparently, there's an Internet outage, as a result of a power outage, in Greenland's capital, according to the @Netblocks people. First time I've seen Greenland have such a serious connectivity loss as to cause a report. Wonder just how that may have happened... or whose responsible. Some how, I doubt speculation need go far to imagine a potential cause and actor.

This is the second time that I have had OmniDescriber just totally lose my configuration. This time, I did literally nothing as far as I can tell. Windows Defender says my computer isn't infected with anything, but I'm still managing to encounter this issue. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but I'm not sure I can rely on this program anymore. If anyone has any thoughts on this feel free to let me know. Thanks.

The fact it's no longer a local tool I can put my API keys in, it's a cloud solution where I have no idea what models they use internally and don't pay for my API usage, rather I pay for the pricing they decide to put up. I'm happy for the developer he got this, chance, and yes accessibility wise the web version is ok and does what it's supposed to, but well. I preferred the local native app, I had control, it couldn't go down, etc etc.
