Why doesn’t Mastodon let me follow RSS feeds? This seems like such a useful feature.

@Mikołaj Hołysz This is perhaps not the reply you would expect but #Friendica, another activity pub based server side app can do that i.e. Follow RSS feeds similar as if these were activity pub contacts.

because really simple syndication abbreviated as RSS is not the same asactivitypub.
you need a bot to convert RSS feed into activitypub?
