My issue is hopefully resolved as I did reach a human. Instead of becoming unlady like I decided to channel my energy into goodness and I will go to the top as my daddy taught me and the senior vice president of #Accessibility at #Xfinity will be receiving my feedback so they can fix the horrible issues with their chat from a #Blindness perspective as it is difficult to find the newest messages when using any #ScreenReader. Anyone care to join me in this pursuit, feel free.

I wish you the best with this. They should ideally have headings separating each message and the incoming messages should be announced.

@DavidGoldfield Thank you, I wish me the best with this as well. So far, I can’t seem to get myself in touch with anyone of great consequence in Accessibility. But I certainly have made it known to everyone else. And I agree they should have but so far in my experience, they didn’t design it in that fashion. Oh well.

The chat UI has gone through a few changes. The last time I remember working with it you did at least hear the last incoming message. It's honestly difficult for end users to get in touch with the accessibility team and I think that the best way to do so is to file a complaint with the accessibility call center as that may get pushed to the team that actually interfaces with the developers of the apps.

@DavidGoldfield Yes, I did that on Thursday, but I am not sure the lovely man who took my call fully understood what I was trying to communicate to him

Have you reached out to Tom W. on Twitter/X? His handle is @twlod I don't know how often he logs onto X but it's worth a try.

@DavidGoldfield You might also want to check and make sure that a case was actually open for your issue. Ask for the case number. Once you have that, it is easy evidence as you escalate the issue. Without a case, you’re kind of just stuck, explaining it over and over and over again. Good luck.
