@kde @gnome Part of it is a code problem. Or rather, a spesification problem. Choices that were made years ago are coming back to bite us in the arse. However, we're all people. From the people that write the users, to spec writers, programmers, policy integrators. Hopefully, things can be learned from and improved. I wrote, and am still writing, a hole series on this. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just wanted to let you know that things were happening. What does need to change is accessibility needs to be shouted about more. When improvements happen, I want it to be a front pager, not berried in release notes or git commits.
