@nclm Yeah, it's a known issue that's being worked one. Thanks for pointing it out and for the compliment!
in reply to Freehive

@nclm Seriously, thanks for helping us find these things to help make our shiny new site better. (And thank you, Freehive, for answering all of these! You are seriously our MVP of the week.)

There's a bug with the site on dark mode where some text is illegible due to low contrast. Screenshots taken with FF 126.0 on Ubuntu 22.04
in reply to Ulincsys

@Ulincsys Good catch! Please post it here so we can fix it: github.com/thunderbird/thunder…
in reply to Freehive

@Ulincsys Thanks for noting this! We're gathering up the issues today and can post this to Github. (Thanks for including a screenshot!)

Compared to the rest of the site, those buttons feel noticably laggy, is it? Though maybe just my phone, or Firefox. Though, congrats on new design.

@mingu Thanks for letting us know! What mobile OS are you using? We can go ahead and file an issue on Github to look into this.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. My Mobile OS is Android 14 OneUI 6.0, browser is Firefox 126.0 Android. My phone is A15, 8GB version if it help too.

It looks good, but I found a few misses.

The header looks like it was smashed together in a too small area. And the content on the website seems to be way off to the right.

in reply to Hund

@hund Thanks for reporting this and sharing with screencaps! This looks like mobile FF - do you mind sharing if this is Android or iOS? We can go ahead and file an issue on Github

Looks great!
I was hoping that it would be easier to find a link to checksums and or pgp signatures on the download page.
in reply to justforfun

@justforfun That's a good suggestion! We'll relay it to the team, or you can post an issue to the Github page! github.com/thunderbird/thunder…
in reply to Fubaroque

@fubaroque It's a bug. Please share over here: github.com/thunderbird/thunder…
in reply to Freehive

@fubaroque We know reporting things twice is a pain. We'll be monitoring our socials for any issues - and of course, we're always grateful for any bug reports!

That seems a more reasonable response to a bug “report” than starting an argument… 🤣

Anyway done. No problem at all. I can in fact rotate my iPod to get at that hamburger if I really needed/wanted to.

@msdropbear42 if http still not redirecting for you? If so, can you let us know what OS and browser you're using to access the website?
Unknown parent

Freehive
@msdropbear42 It should be redirecting to HTTPS. If not, then post something here for the dev team: github.com/thunderbird/thunder…

@tcit We have an issue filed thanks to your report! Merci!

maybe not related, but on the blog, with Firefox Android on Pixel4a, the hamburger menu is outside the viewport
