Totally unrelated, but when will the Flatpak of Thunderbird be upgraded to v140?

@NotoriousNico That will happen in the next few weeks. Since upgrading the flatpak means upgrading everyone using it, unlike the gradual roll out with manual installs, we want to wait a bit before making that change.

And we're still working on our strategy for snap/flatpak and ESR/Release since while we definitely want people to get new features sooner, we don't want to break add-ons that don't yet work with the Release channel for anyone using them. So once we have a way forward we'll let people know!

Now that v140 ESR has been released as a Flatpak, do you still plan to migrate the Flatpak to Non-ESR?
