@uriel fantastic! Happy New Year to the team and folks working on this. I really hope we can choose Thunderbird instead of Outlook on Microsoft-driven IT! This makes it possible! I’ll test it on my device and report back!

Edit: I've reported my findings on the bug ticket. Almost there! I initially used the Beta, but then saw I need the daily. I can authenticate successfully, but the Redirect URI urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob is not closing the window after this and the account doesn't sync after this.
