If you ever had the #Korg #iKaossilator app back in the day and enjoyed that, you'll likely enjoy this.

Wow! I'm not a musician myself. But this totally sounds awesome!

So helpful. Loved the format: "we're just going to show you good stuff can be done." Convinced me to buy note. Getting something recorded as simply as possible before it fades is so important. This seems like the I want to make beats now answer. Thanks!

@ground024 That's my whole vibe. I try to make all my videos like this. Explain, show, out. Not 25 minutes talking about the weather, what I had for dinner three weeks ago, and then 17 and a half seconds demonstrating the thing, 9 minutes of adverts and sponsor spots from VPN providers that nobody cares about, then the outro which is 'support me on patreon today!' Of course the outro is another 900 hours.

The attached keyboard for playing the riffs seems a requirement? Have a keyboard that will record to reaper in Windows 11. Assume this midi input can be connected to the phone via bluetooth? Also from another thread, Tinyspell was a great suggestion.

@ground024 It's a requirement certainly for me. I don't like on-screen keys or pads in most apps to be honest, so if you can, find a way to get your keyboard connected to your phone, however you have to do it.

Oh wow. Just saw that one of the Ableton Note devs retweeted my video on 'that old thing' but still, exposure init? I'm pretty stoked about that.

@podcast Hi. Not sure if this is the kind of thing your followers would be interested in, but if so, feel free to check it out. Happy to provide raw audio for editing if required. For iOS music-makers, I think this is a great sketchpad and a very fun thing to use.

Glad to see that #AbletonNote is making the rounds across various socials, lots of VI peoples have gotten in-touch to tell me how it's sparked some fun creativity, so happy to hear that. Here's the loop I ended my video with:

I like this ableton thing. Pretty interesting application. I also like the hardware drum machine called machine.

I know it takes time to really gain traction on a new platform, but sometimes I seriously miss the reach I had on 'tother side.' If you haven't shared this before, if you're a blind/VI music maker, if you use iOS or know people that do, please do boost the post I'm replying to. It's not necessarily a game-changer in terms of #accessible music apps, but it is fun, it's inexpensive (not free) and it could bring someone some joy. That's all I set out to do here. Not a fan of asking for boosts, so definitely won't do it often.
Thank you.
