Pádem Asada válka neskončila, a vše nasvědčuje, že se roztáčí další kolo válek a bojů mezi státy a syrskými frakcemi, aby si každý urval, co největší kus území, bohatství a moci. A běžní lidé – pracující a rolníci – opět trpí a umírají!
Navíc se nad Sýrií se stahují mračna náboženského fašismu, a nástup reakce jako v případě Iránu a Afganistánu. Málokdo věří prohlášení nových islamistických pánů Damašku, že nechají ženám a etnickým menšinám svobodu a nebudou zavádět islámské právo.
Někteří s napětím pohlíží na Rojavu, jedno z mála demokratických oblastí Sýrie pod kontrolou kurdských marxistů z Kurdské strany práce. Syrské demokratické síly se jistě pokusí odolat vojenské převaze, snad budou úspěšní.
