The Federal Republic joins 20 countries which have passed laws allowing people to declare their own legal gender. I hope someday this will apply across the whole EU.

Dear society: you could just drop "sir" and "ma'am" and other gendered terms from your public service patter. Literally no one would know it wasn't there, and you'd save so much grief in the world.
"Thanks, have a good day!" has the same weight and impact as "Thanks, have a good day, sir!" No one would know. You could make this change right now, and save the sanity of so many people, trans and cis alike.
So YouTuber and streamer Finnster has come out as #trans. A lot of people saw this coming, unsurprisingly.
But he's also done something else profound: he's normalising the journey of cross-dressing to femboy to transgender. Because that's very similar to my journey. And I think a lot of people don't grasp that that's also an entirely valid path to take.

Here is a study being done of adult neopronoun users.
You'll get paid USD$15 for the interview. Filling out the form is just expressing interest, you can still decline the interview. They're also asking if you have a friend or "buddy" they can interview, as in they'll be asking questions about you I presume. You must be fluent in English.
Looks like the person conducting the study is a "cool" linguist who's done other neat studies that someone goes on to link to in the thread I've linked above. :3
I technically use neopronouns, so I might fill out the form to express interest, though I'm uncertain who I would reference as a "buddy" for them to interview too. But that might not be necessary.

I have just read the Interview with Georg Romer from University Hospital Münster in "Süddeutsche Zeitung" titled "Wait and See is Not an Option!"
He is a child and young adult psychiatrist. The interview is really very long.
But the gist is that this Georg Romer is really one of the Saints that we wish for.
The questions asked by the newspaper were great, mentioning all the controversy in society, asking tough questions (but in a very respectful manner), asking things like "what about the impression that transition numbers just exploded and that this is 'fashionable' at the moment" and so on.
During the interview Alexander Knote from LMU Munich was also mentioned aht Georg Romer was asked why he refused to talk / discuss with Alexander Knote.
In essence, A. Knote says that "coming out as trans gender has become fashionable among the AFAB." He then continues to prove that by showing that in Germany 85% of trans gender people AFAB trans men.
Georg Romer takes that as data and looks at "why is that so" in a different way. He analyses the societal environment and comes to the conlusing that the actual number of trans woman is significantly higher than the 15% but the fact that trans women have a significantly higher chance of being discriminated against, hated, or even experience violence is the actual reason why we don't see more trans women coming out. And yes, contrary to A. Knote, Georg Romer has scientific data on that.
