What have I been up to lately? Just getting #WordPerfect for #DOS to run in DOSBox. It even prints, sort of, by way of PostScript files.

I can’t wait to play around with this even more. I actually used WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS as a kid, and I have fond memories of it.

I managed to find a copy of the DeluxePaint II Enhanced (IBM/DOS) manual and had it shipped from the UK to the US at some cost. It came in the mail today. I scanned it and uploaded the PDF to archive.org, since there doesn't seem to be a scan of it anywhere that I could find on the internet (until now, you're welcome). You can download it here: https://archive.org/details/deluxepaint-ii-enhanced-manual-for-ibm
Enjoy!

I found huge cache of #DOS files. They are zip files of old programs, utilities, documentation, code examples, code libraries, you name it. It's called the Garbo FTP Archives and here is one mirror of it: http://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/pc/garbo/pc/
To get a good idea of what is there, download INDEX.ZIP, unpack it and you'll find a file with all the files in all the directories and a one-line description of each.

The files are split into dozens of folders, here are the folder descriptions: http://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/pc/garbo/pc/DIRNAMES.TXT
