NOTICE: our primary web server has a maintenance window scheduled for today, starting around 6:15 pm UTC and ending around 8 pm UTC. So the website, repo browser and the primary repo server will be unavailable for about 30min within this time frame.
Our mirrors will stay available of course, so you can receive your updates etc. from there. We'll make sure the downtime does not start before the mirror sync is through 😉
A short reminder that, starting tomorrow (2024-11-06), there will be a row of maintenance windows at our main service provider. Hopefully you won't notice any of them – and regarding our F-Droid repo, our mirrors will have you covered. Just the web server might (shortly) be unavailable.

Ui-wooo! Hetzner is one week late with their Halloween "prank": 3 maintenance windows in a row, November 6, 7 and 8. We hopefully won't be affected for the full time (they wrote "just a few minutes") but of course cannot tell *exactly* when. So some time within those windows.
Again, only the primary servers are affected. Our mirrors will still be available to you for app updates and installs.

@kensanata & I declared it a task to package mastodon-backup for easier install on Linux. Well, basically that was declared a task for me, and the first packages are ready for testing. Before declaring them "mature" & placing them into a repo for "public use" we'd prefer some testing to be sure they work well (and which distros might have issues with them).
