We're joining today's #TuneTuesday as Thunderbird! Today's theme is #MyGenerationMusic and we're going back 20 years (!) to 2004 when Thunderbird 1.0 came into the world. To us, this song still sounds as good as it did two decades ago!

What was playing when you made your debut? (Fellow open source project socials, we're looking at you!)

Okay, we're going a bit classical and literal for #TuneTuesday today and the #SongBaton theme. 🏃

Let's start with some 16th century polyphony! songwhip.com/new-york-polyphon…

And pass that tune along 3+ centuries later to Ralph Vaughan Williams who makes the lush Tallis Fantasia: songwhip.com/ralphvaughanwilli…

And we'd love to pass this baton to our community AND any other open source project reading this! Musical interludes are good for everyone. 🎧

Happy #TuneTuesday Fediverse! With today's theme of #GhostStorySongs, one epic track immediately springs comes to mind.

A sweeping, intensely emotional, downright heavy song about tragic love, by none other than Nightwish.

This particular live version of Ghost Love Score (from Wacken 2013) never fails to give me chills during its crescendo. And Floor Jansen's vocals elevate this thing to the stratosphere.

Enjoy, rock out, and have a very musical Tuesday!

It's #TuneTuesday and the theme is #IBoughtItFirst - the first single/album you got for yourself. @communiteatime is driving and picking the music, so don't say we didn't warn you. ⚠️

That first album was...Shepherd Moons by Enya. For a 90s teen into Irish and New Age music, what else would it have been? 😅

This was the fav song, and it made it onto an Ireland travel playlist for OSS-EU back in 2022. And now our earworm is yours! What was your first? 🐛

When we heard there was a #TuneTuesday train we had to hop on board!

Today's theme is #SingIt and to share a song whose lyrics mean a lot to you. Not easy to narrow down, but we'll try!

Vienna Teng's "Level Up" is a great anthem about embracing humanity and helping each other in the face of what's often an overwhelming world.

So, what's your anthem, the song you feel down to your bones? We'd love to know and sing along!
