!Friendica Support Anyone out there using Friendica with mobile #Firefox on #Android? Tried it again for a while this weekend but eventually gave up (again) because, in the web UI on my device, Friendica / frio became almost unusable while trying to "@" - mention some user. Either loading or displaying suggestions / completions seems incredibly slow here. Is this just me? Any other experiences?

Yep. Firefox on Android here. Adding mentions is working well. No notable delay.

On second try, it seems most likely caused by some addon in my Firefox (not sure whether Dark Reader or something like this - will dig into it). Thanks all, anyway.

Im not using #friendica, but #DarkReader on #firefox, cool to read, that other one use DarkReader.

So thats not totally nerdy, to use DarkReader.

@alm10965 ┐⁠(⁠ ⁠˘⁠_⁠˘⁠)⁠┌ Truth be told: I hate having to use an addon just to render dark websites in 2024. Most of the chromium-based browsers do that out of the box and somehow I still wonder why this is missing from Firefox until today, but that's another issue I guess. 🙈

Works fine here with latest RC branch of friendica, frio theme and current Firefox stable on Android 13.1. Assuming a problem with your instance, which Matthias seems to confirm.

@Kristian Works well enough for me, but it certainly has some glitches at times, and it's unusable in DEX mode.

@Kristian Firefox for Android user here - how many tabs do you have open? Mobile Firefox is extremely sensitive to having many tabs open, much more so than on desktop
