Signal has the option to be anonymous now, you no longer need to give out a phone number to connect with people, just a username you can set to anything

you could be recommending #DeltaChat that is an #e2ee #email client with an UI that looks like #WhatsApp, you could even provide it to your users as a chatting #decentralized solution using your email server, which fits with your business, but instead you prefer to recommend centralized phone-number based apps like #Signal 😭
