I ended up having to downgrade back to version 128 to get it to work.

Problem seems to be in the upgrade and that old AT&T account. I keep it since many old accounts still email that address even though I put in a different email. Generally this happens when new apps are created and don't connect to the old databases. Then old databases are used to send emails.
Working with customer service in many of them is hard since so many only use chat bots or non-working AI.

in reply to Thunderbird: Free Your Inbox • • •upgraded and syncing from AT&T email worked with no changes. So has me scratching my head. Only difference is it upgraded to 140.1.0.esr and not 140.0.1esr.
Can't comment on the bug any longer or I would note that but did send an email to Toby Pilling.
