in reply to Thunderbird: Free Your Inbox • • •I switched from K9 to Thunderbird last week, and have no issues to report, although Thunderbird did not, as I anticipated, spot my K9 installation and offer to carry the accounts across.
My only issue is that nothing I do will get Thunderbird to appear in my AOI Launcher shortcuts. I'm sure I'll figure that out in time.

Then i was looking for settings for emails in pure text form.
Is it possible that there is only HTML representation in Android versions?
