BT Speak users, I'm very interested to know! What is your favorite use case for the device? I have been eagerly following the development of this since February, and loved putting my hands on it at #NFB24. From the demos and tutorials I have heard, and getting to see the device about a month ago, I really see the potential. I would love one, but trying to determine how it would fit into my daily routine.

It was a profoundly special moment to accept a prestigious Dr Jacob Bolotin Award for Living Blindfully at #NFB24 on behalf of our all-blind team and the Living Blindfully Community. If you’re a part of it in any way, thank you so much for building something truly special, and thank you to the National Federation of the Blind for the honour, which means a great deal to me. We will use the cash part of the award to bring you more audio face-to-face at blindness gatherings around the world.

Just one thing I love about convention, I can give people directions as a #blind person and they listen to me and assume my directions will be at least as good as those of sighted people. It’s also so easy to explore and make my own mental map when I’m not worried about people grabbing me. #nfb24

You know that old memory game we used to play on long car trips? “I went to the shop, and I bought …” and you would add one more item to the list with every person who took a turn at the game? Well we have a new version from Bonnie. “I went to the exhibit hall, and I bought or was given, an #NFB telescopic white cane, so much candy that it would drive Jonathan out of ketosis if it was even written down, a set of headphones, a phone lanyard, a keychain, another keychain with a USB stick on it, yet another keychain, some coffee, a travel mug that says “Live the Life you Want” in Spanish, and a snack pack. Then I left. And then, yes and then, I went back to the exhibit hall the next day, after a really big think overnight, and I bought…a new Brailliant. Mate! #NFB24

copilot desktop aallows one to summerize word documents. You can also summerize spreadsheets. For instance one can analyze spreadsheets to find highest and lowest reports in budgeting. Tip, you must have office 365, or have an account through your place of employment. #nfb24
