True, and it doesn't even break rhyme or meter just to just say they went down the hill.
The Hill is probably a witty reference to some well known royal dungheap.

If they fix ageing during the 21st Century she could be anything from 800 years old down to born yesterday.
Or someone might have taken a break in cryogenic suspension.
Or (given that it's the main premise of the song) perhaps, just maybe, time travel is involved?

My sofa doesn't come with tons of faults, some of which may make it easier for burglars to enter my house.
But it should be OK, because they updated their terms and conditions after you bought it without telling you. And you DID continue to use the sofa after that, showing that you implicitly agreed to the updated terms and conditions.
Got a problem with that? Too bad. You're stuck with binding arbitration with the lawyers the company pays for.
"I have already voted for you" does indeed get the canvasser off your doorstep, even if they *know* that you're lying (eg you haven't actually applied for a postal vote so can't have already voted for anybody).
And a note in your window saying "we have already voted" probably saves you even having to answer the door.
Gotta clean it (and leave to dry) somewhere, @davidbcohen

Dear mental calculators,
A new hectoc for you:
686598
The goal is to combine the 6 numbers to a total of 100. You can use the mathematical operations + - * / ^ and the parenthesis ( ). Numbers can be combined, but you have to use all 6 of them and are not allowed to change the order. See hectoc.seism0saurus.de for an example. Please use CW "solution".
Have fun! Your hourly hectoc bot

They're preferring slop to nothing right now.
if they'd prefer slop muzak to a good and appropriate song at the signing such as White Wedding by Billy Idol, Fuck The Pain Away by Peaches, or The Rot In The Field Is Holy by Feminazgul, then DTMFA
That "mutual friend" would immediately be my ex friend, and banned from my wedding.
Gen AI is sucking all the fresh water from the Earth, to encourage the masses to stop thinking for themselves (plenty of evidence of this), as late stage capitalism's last desperate attempt for nonstop "growth," to turn billionaires into trillionaires while taking the tiny bit we have left, and literally killing us.
It feels like most couples, if they don't just turn things over to a DJ or wedding-planner, solve the music-selection process by each submitting a list of songs they'd like played then pick from the ones they agree on. Just don't include the AI garbage in your list?
Then again, last time I or friends had a public wedding was 15-ish years ago. Perhaps things have changed.
Tell them it sucks and tell 'em they contributed to global warming making stupid fucking generic sounding slop. If their feelings get hurt and/or they don't understand what you mean, ditch 'em.
It's not worth talking sense to dumb people. Best example are my parents. It's a waste of time.

This is so true tho. Sexuality is tied to security, self-worth, self-esteem. When you feel you're valuable, you're confident, assured and you're gonna rip your partner apart in bed. When you're in the dumps the last thing you want is to get freaky: you're exposed, vulnerable - you want a blanket.
My self esteem is perhaps a tad _too_ much so Im DTF allatime. My partner has a lot of imposter syndrome and a self-doubt complex so she's.. not. But I can tell when she has an excellent day at work she comes home, tosses the kid $30 to go the movies and puts me in the hospital.

Not to mention that shoplifting is one excuse used to hike grocery prices.
