Microsoft Windows Recall is not mandatory (yet) but starts in the background by default. It can be turned off by typing the following commands with admin rights:
DISM /Online /Get-Featureinfo /Featurename:Recall
DISM /Online /Disable-Feature /Featurename:Recall
This is for your info. It is upto you whether to disable or keep it running. "Recall" refers to the controversial AI-powered feature for Copilot+ PCs. This feature takes periodic screenshots of your screen including everything you type

Google added some restrictions to news app and I don’t see how Flym (and other RSS aggregators) could comply to that. For instance, Flym cannot provide a “valid and verifiable contact information” for the feed, nor it can assure that “each of the sources must meet News policy requirements”.
As of today, Flym updates on Play Store are blocked by Google. So I have archived this project in order to clearly show that I won’t maintain it anymore. I’m not aware of any official way of publishing an RSS client on PlayStore and do not have motivation to argue with Google.

Wireless operators were at the greatest risk of discovery, as their position could be triangulated whenever they were transmitting messages back to London.
Wilen evades capture by minutes and escapes over the Pyrenees. She lives until 2015.

Pokud byste jeli do UK autem, dávejte si fakt bacha na rychlost, může to dost bolet … (85mph na 70mph zóně). Jako bonus, pokud jste v jakékoli práci, kde musíte řídit, i třeba firemní osobní auto, máte okamžitě padáka, protože s víc jak 4 body vás nikdo ve firemním nepojistí.

The left shift key of my laptop has been acting erratically (it keeps registering as being active for ~1s after being released [1]). I tried cleaning the key today with alcohol but no change in behavior. Anything else I should try (besides learning to just use the right shift key 🙈)?

to me it sounds like sticky liquid (?) got in between the two plastic films, stopping the rubber cap to elevate quickly enough and breaking the contact. you could be lucky to lift one layer just far enough to reach it with an alcohol-q-tip without having to rip the whole keyboard apart.
@hanser Thanks! A qtip is far too big but I might just have had success with getting small pliers plus a bit of cotton from a qtip under there. Seems fixed for now and hopefully also stays that way... now I just need to reassemble the key 🙈 .
Just finished 15.5 km in the #Beskydy mountains. The longest run of my life. Not bad considering I started pretty much from scratch in winter. But the photos before and after the run speak for themselves. 😅

Is the fancy-schmancy CHIPS partitioned cookies business causing any trouble on the curl front? It was super fun discovering that for example Python SimpleCookie just silently drops the Partitioned keyword since it's not a known standard cookie argument. (Fixed in 3.14 I think)
@jinna no, it should not cause any problems. curl just ignores the new keyword. curl itself does not mange third party cookies, they are always first party to curl.

Is the original translation on Weblate on hosted.weblate.org/translate/c… wrong? (Anyone can edit that) Is the generated image wrong? If so, how is it wrong? I don't have enough info yet to fix it I fear 😅
A friend told me it looked like it wasn't RTL correctly. So after some tweaking (and replacing ImageMagick by Inkscape for PNG generation as ImageMagick was ignoring RTL) I ended up getting a decent enough fix I think: github.com/CatimaLoyalty/Andro…
I can't judge if it's correct, but it looks better and fairly consistent with the translation file. So as long as the translator translated correctly this *might* be okay?
