Hi Thunderbird family, we have just a bit of housekeeping and cleanup to do before we release version 115, so we're going to hold off until tomorrow (Tuesday) to press the launch button.

Thank you so much for your patience. We know it's been a long wait. We just want to ensure the smoothest launch possible!

Perhaps we can offer you this new logo Thunderbird merch as a consolation prize while you wait...

Congrats on the new logo.
It's hard to replace a well-established & much-loved logo with something that's not just a minor makeover but the new logo is every bit, if not better, than the old one - love it!

Unfortunately, no, because we only recommend Beta and Daily for testing enviroments and not production environments. By default, Thunderbird versions prevent downgrading from newer versions.

Are there any major changes for extensions in v115 or will they just work?

Will the OWL extension work for exchange integration? It isn't working in the beta and the default setup doesn't integrate the calendar or update correctly :(

As much as I was looking forward to playing with it today, thanks for being willing to hit the delay button to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Now I have something else to look forward to tomorrow as well!

Thanks for all the hard work - Firefox 115 Beta has been working great! 👍

I can't say I've really followed how code fixes / feature updates are shared between the Thunderbird Beta and Stable channels over the years, but are changes in upstream Betas backported into the Stable release? I notice there's a 116.0b1 Beta release already with some significant fixes, and I don't know whether to remain on Beta or switch to 115 Stable and assume the fixes will be backported.

I’m excited for this update. I’m hoping to start using thunderbird as my daily.

Hi, what about the isues reported about accessibility? Are these addressed? I'm asking because I know that your'e working on it, but if these haven't solved I'll pass for now

Happy that you guys would rather push it by a day rather than rush a potentially incomplete version.

Looking forward to this update, really hopping that the new interface will be developed further into something more modern like what @protonmail is currently doing.
