Because free software is also about accessibility, I'm doing some important work in Movim to ensure that the user interface can be navigated using the keyboard only. ♥️

This work also involves proper labeling and description of the page elements for people with visual impairments. 💬

This side project is supported by @nlnet. Thanks to them for making Movim an even better communication platform for everyone. ✨

@Movim I've looked at the Movim blog so far and found some #accessibility issues.

Also I'm thinking using HTML lists and list items for layout does not sound that appealing when reading the blog with a screen reader. However I need to research what's a good advice when trying to improve it. Using role="presentation" on them might work but I'm not sure if it's the correct thing to do. Thx @Paweł Masarczyk for bringing this to my attention.

@pvagner @Piciok I don't understand the issue with lists. Could you tell me the issue you are having? For me, Lists work fine, actually, and are an easy way to navigate, just don't overdue it. I'd say lists are fine for archive pages, like this one, actually. No need for ARIA here. sightlessscribbles.com/posts/
