in reply to Thunderbird: Free Your Inbox • • •one little question from me: how come Thunderbird for Android has telemetry that goes to Google Firebase and there is no option in the settings that I could find that disables this?
Edit: I found out that it was coming from the Google OAuth login, Thunderbird's telemetry can be disabled from the settings but I don't have that toggle because I'm using the F-Droid version which removes telemetry entirely.

in reply to Thunderbird: Free Your Inbox • • •i use K9-Mail on Android since ... forever ;) Is the Thunderbird for Android App from the same develeopers as K9? Does it make sense to switch apps? Why do both Clients coexist if Thunderbird for Android is based on K9 and Changes from Thunderbird get included into K9?
if someone has quick answers i'd appreciate it 🙈
