Hello,
I have a quick question as I just may be mistaken there
Is it possible to keep force enabled NVDA addons when updating?
For example: I have enabled the test1addon and want to update from NVDA2024.2 to NVDA2024.4. The test addon isn't compatible with both versions, so it has already been enabled with the warning at 2024.2. Would the addon be kept enabled because I already enabled it though the warning at 2024.2, or would I have to reenable it every time I update?
Greetings

@garo I must admit I don't use regular add-ons much, let alone incompatible ones - From memory, I think you still get the warning - did you recently update to 2024.3 and /or 2024.3.1 - that might have been a good opportunity confirm exactly what happens.

No, I activated my addons though they are incompatible at NVDA 2024.2 and I am still at the same version, and I just wanted to go sure how it behaves before I update to 2024.4, so I don't have to activate all addons again which is annoying over time, especially when you would ahve to do it always when updating.

of my 61 total installed addons are 7 force activated and incompatible:
- Unigram and Unigram plus,
- Translate,
- Sound manager,
- Report the time with seconds,
- OBS Studio,
- And IBM driver (21.03a1)
