I'm looking for a filter VST that I'm sure must exist. Basically, I want something that can automatically determine multiple harmonics of a fundamental frequency and do something based on a ratio. So, if, for example, I want to notch at 440Hz, then it should also notch at the second, third, forth harmonics, and if I automate changing of that frequency, everything is proportional. Does anyone know of such a thing?

You'd have been pretty hard-pressed to do something like this even five years ago, but a few companies have stepped up to the plate to give us some very nice-sounding free products.
In this instance I take my hat off to the following:
#Soniccouture, #FractureSounds, #StrezovSampling and #NativeInstruments.
All of these products run in the *free* Kontakt player, so your only price of admission is that of your computer, chosen #DAW and if required, keyboard to play the plug-ins with.

I put together this demo for how you might accessibly create a convincing shortwave radio vibe complete with carrier whistle, static, the works. When you're feeling garbled, express it like this. https://www.dropbox.com/s/u9t69uemos0q0zj/Shortwave%20Demo.flac?dl=0 #SoundDesign #DAW #Reaper #ReaperDAW
