Mosteller (she/her), Boosted from @aidapsibr: Also, if you are in Washington state, please take the time to comment on support of SB 5489, the companion bill to SB 5599 which does what other blue states have done in protecting trans youth and people seeking reproductive health care from subpoena, extradition, warrants, etc.
I've just discovered that there's a petition on the #UK government petitions website to remove #LGBT content from the curriculum, effectively resurrecting the horrendous Section 28 from the 1980s.
There is also a counter-petition. As of this morning, the remove petition has over 178,000 signatures, the counter-petition has just over 2,500 signatures.
We believe kids should learn about this at an early age. I am sure there are many parents who want their and other children taught about LGBT issues in primary school.
Last week, we discussed the top 5 states to be transgender. I was asked by subscribers to compile a similar list, but this time for the bottom 5 states. Here they are!
