Applied Acoustic Systems of late have been a terrible, terrible company. Customer service that doesn't respond to emails, outright lies on their page saying that Multiphonics CV2 supports NKS when it doesn't, taking away NKS mapping from all of their products so now they look like Orange Tree Samples (circa 2023) so I'm not happy.
Thankfully the good folks over at the NI forum have stepped up once again to do the job manufacturers should be doing themselves but clearly won't.
If you're an AAS user, so far we have Multiphonics CV2 (including CV1), Chromaphone 3 and Lounge Lizard with great mapping.
I know that String Studio is on it's way, so when that happens I'll update.

Oh did they join ReFX in quietly getting rid of their NKS? That’s really dumb. Of course with ReFX you have the alternative of an actually accessible UI which is not the case with AAS stuff but thank god for the community. I have to agree with Andre about Chromaphone, it’s a really cool synth. AAS also borrowed their physical modeling engines to Ableton and the Collision, tension, analog and electric devices are just AAS synths under the hood, except nearly fully accessible
It has it's charm and I have it, but Chromaphone and Ultra Analog is really fun. String studio is physically modeled strings and that's also very interesting.
@pitermach @bryansmart No they didn't get rid of, but they shit all over the mapping which was never great to begin with. It's much better with the third-party offerings. I recommend.

Precisely 10 years ago, I received my first #Turris router from CZ.NIC. Even after all these years the router still receives the latest software updates and can be even upgraded to support Wi-Fi 6.
I just opened Mastodon to write about me considering a #turris as a main home router into new appartment (PPPoE).
And I remembered that I've got the exact same model as you do in Czech Republic and without any single manual action it's updating and serving my family back there.
I am nearly decided to get a new one for my new apartment.
@ondrejkolin I am using Turris Omnia as my main home router, now with Fiber-to-the-Living-Room (PtP link with PPPoE). The only issue I have is that with Cake congestion control, the hardware does not seem to be powerful enough to forward more than ~350 Mbps.
Should I go for the newest one which is Wi-Fi 6 capable (9k CZK) or the 2020 Model which is cheaper (7.2k CZK) and the Wi-Fi standards are slightly worse.
My Turris 1.1 is also still running fine, and also as a secondary network node. But sadly I just have a problem with the last 6.5 updates of TurrisOS. My main router is Omnia and that works perfectly fine.
Btw have you ever experienced this strange android behavior? I have set up two wifi networks on a single card - the main one and a guest one. Lately I noticed the phone acts as if it's connected to the guest ssid, despite the guest network not being set there. The phone knows only the main network, not the guest one. Some Android bug? 🤷
@stepan Or possibly both ssids having the same bssid (mac address). I am not sure if hostapd would even start with such a configuration but it could explain the device's confusion about ssid. Try to check if every wifi interface has a unique mac. Although it is only a guess.
I have no need for this right now but I'm tempted to watch this because I'm curious about where else we can embed libcurl... Judging by its prevalence I'm sure it's easy to embed, so now I'm wondering about weird stuff I can do with it (and it's open source, so you can't stop me, muahahaha)
