I’m pretty sure I ran into this in the 90’s with the same investigation and results (changed the registry setting). Only back then it was something like a 5-10 sec delay.
Maybe you can shame them into fixing it.

This is more of a personal gut feeling than a strongly-held belief, and I don’t look down on the use of slogans; I just don’t see myself boosting them. I’m happy to boost more nuanced, personal, or substantive posts that lend themselves less to repetition.
