I fondly remember him saying you shouldn't bother people to do image descriptions because sometimes he's busy and he can't be bothered so he sympathizes with people who don't want to face any consequences for being inaccessible.

I wish for a hard fork or even a new thing altogether, so he and Evan can get rekt by meta.

That's what I run, and while "works for me" is not a general recommendation, I would argue that the upcoming release is the time to dip one's toe in, now that it will have proper audio support, among other missing features until now.
