I don't use beta versions. However, what you describe sounds like you might be turning quicknav on and off. This is usually done by pressing the left and right arrow keys together at once. It gives a short sound cue which rises if quicknav is turned on or descends if turned off. perhaps, there's a setting which controls when this activates automatically. Hope that helps.

It's a bug, and if you update to the latest developer beta it's fixed. If you're familiar with braille screen input you can also activate it in those edit fields and use that to enter information as a work-around.

@technolass I think I saw somewhere that there's a setting within the braille settings that lets you always keep the keyboard on screen, I think I heard this sorted it out for someone
