perhaps programs offering a monetary reward should require a submission fee. Submitting slop sends the fee to the maintainers. Have the program run by a trusted arbitrator.

@stepan Ty co rozhodují o pravidlech obykle nejsou příjemci důsledků. Ty co dělají pravdila nejezdí na kole, ale určitě jezdí v autě, takže to nemusí vůbec pomáhat cyklistům. Podobně jako o MHD rozhodují politici co nikdy MHD nejezedí a mnoho dalsích příkladů.

@stepan Je to líp vidět než neblikat je hlavní důvod. Přední neblikám a nabíjím ćastěji, mohl bych stejně nabíjet zadní, ale i tak blikám. Zadní světlo na kole je výrazně slabší než na jakýmkoli autě nebo motorce, takže oslnění atd mi moc smysl nedává, ale třeba je nějaký fyziologický efekt na oko, který to hodně zhoršuje, ale pohcybuju. Ve městě kde je večer/v noci fakt hodně světel to blikání hodně pomáhá. Ja to preferuju i jako řidič auta aby cyklisti blikali.

@patrick_h_lauke In many ways it is still a better choice than ARIA slider because it screen reader works across platforms inside web views. ARIA sliders rely on JS for keyboard and that totally breaks on mobile. But yeah, wish there was a way to specify valuetext in addition to just the value.

@jcsteh @patrick_h_lauke Yep, and I've seen many examples where developers don't realize that implementing ARIA sliders doesn't make them accessible across platforms. I generally recommend sticking to "range" as much as possible. But yeah, hopefully, "user actionss" / AOM will get completed at some point?
This does of course work! I believe I was simply saying that I would have liked to accomplish this without using ARIA as in, since the < input type="range"> has a value attribute, it should probably have a "valuetext" one as well for consistency with ARIA. Inserting "aria-valuetext" into an otherwise non-ARIA control somewhat feels like hacking. Was thinking out loud, FWIW!

Used primarily by the Hutsuls of the Carpathian Mountains, the trembita is crafted from hollowed spruce or pine, split and rejoined, then wrapped in birch bark. Despite its massive size, the instrument is lightweight and portable, designed to carry sound across great distances in mountainous terrain. The trembita has been used for centuries, primarily not as a musical instrument in the conventional sense, but as a tool of communication. In the remote highlands, where settlements were scattered and roads were scarce, the trembita served as a kind of natural radio. It announced births, deaths, funerals, seasonal migrations, the return of shepherds, or emergencies like wolf sightings or raids. Each call followed a specific pattern, immediately recognizable to those familiar with its codes. Mentions of similar long alpine horns exist as far back as the medieval period. In the 16th and 17th centuries, records from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth note the use of long horns in the Carpathians, likely early references to the trembita. The instrument also appears in traditional Ukrainian folklore, poetry, and Hutsul legends, often associated with nature, spiritual rituals, and transitions between life and death. In some traditions, it was said that the trembita's sound could guide a soul to the afterlife. The trembita was also used in religious and seasonal rituals - especially around Christmas and Easter - often in combination with carols or ceremonial processions. In some areas, trembitas would announce the arrival of guests or the start of a festival. During the Soviet era, the trembita was repurposed as a folkloric showpiece in state-sanctioned performances, which helped preserve it, even if its original role diminished. Je dost možné, že to lidem s pár články projde, ale u mě to ani na pátý pokus nešlo a už jsem to chtěl používat :)
