@jscholes Sorry to hear that. I hope it's at least accessible. I was lucky enough to be advised a really pleasant-to-use option. One more example from me: I can-t access the TV offer that I pay for within my home Internet package. The app of the same company for every other country but the one I am in is available in my App Store. I guess I can use the browser but still...

#Monal 6.4.0 #xmpp client for iOS just got released 🥳 (the macOS build is still pending Apple's review).

Notable changes are:
- support for channel management
- a complete rework of group management ui
- SVG support for received images and avatars
- complete restructured settings menu resembling #Conversations' new settings menu
- many bugfixes and better translations

Many thanks to all translators!!

Though China built upon a foreign base of technology, it has become the world’s leading proponent of nuclear energy. Chinese firms are well ahead of their Western peers, supported by a whole-of-government strategy that provides extensive financing and systemic coordination.

Pokud tedy aplikace nebudou mít detekci obsahu a takovéto zprávy odmítnou.
Že by se vracel čas XMPP/Jabber? 🙂

This handy trick for combining a bunch of spreadsheet files from @chambln saved me some time using @libreoffice.

So, Malaysia is applying to be a part of BRICS! After Thailand, I guess I'm not surprised. Everyone's falling over themselves to join the bloc, and due to the insanity in the world right now it seems like the popular choice.
Whether we'll be accepted is another matter, of course.

@modulux Yeah. But I suppose one can view it as an economic cooperation rather than a political one (cross fingers), so ASEAN neutrality won't be affected. Don't know, honestly lol. But Malaysia isn't the only ASEAN country with Thailand, Vietnam applying as well.I wonder if this decision has been spurred by the recent US move to sanction Malaysia...

@joel_falcou @JamesGleick It's interesting that those who hold your position are the ones who have already been born who have no problem speaking for themselves. Also, the idea of pro-life Christians ignoring the needs of those who have already been born while obsessing about putting an end to abortion is a distorted, twisted stereotype. Perhaps you might seek out debates and dialogs between those in the pro-choice camp and articulate, pro-life Christians. I can point you to resources, if you have the courage to examine them. Also, unborn children are just as much alive as any other human and so your admonition to take care of the living doesn't apply. It's also interesting that while you call me an idiot I would point out that pro-life Christians don't engage with those who are pro-choice using such language and showing such hostility. And they call us judgmental? No,, I will not be intimidated by your bullying.

@joel_falcou@mastodon.social @JamesGleick I'm always willing to engage in discussions and debates with those who have views which differ from mine. I am not, however, willing to allow myself to be spoken to using hatred and abusive language. I have a bit too much self-respect to subject myself to such abuse. Therefore, I will have to block you.

Short answer: yes. If we start making decisions about who and who should not be born based on what we think is in that person's best interest, we go down a dangerous and slippery slope. What if someone decides that we should terminate a pregnancy because the child will be disabled? Poor? Autistic? Might be developmentally disabled? I was once told to my face by someone that she would have an abortion if she knew her child might have a certain disability. Since I'm blind, I can only say that I'm glad my mother never had such standards.

One more demo of GTK autocomplete in Workbench

I'm very happy so far with the experience, checkout the video.

I love that the same feature can be used to discover widgets, properties and write UI faster.

There are still many improvements to be made, but I think it's close to a first release.

You can try it yourself in Workbench nightly blog.sonny.re/workbench-news

Feedback very welcome

Credits to @flyingpimonster for making this possible!
