@keith You’d need to take into account people who want their contact information on there instead of just their registrar’s.
Contact points for domain issues that are unlikely to be the registrar’s fault can be useful for some orgs. An abuse contact that isn’t the registrar can be more useful if the org wants to be the first to know about an issue, or if the registrar is unlikely to hold the registrant accountable. Run some queries on domains own by large companies and you’ll see somewhat little WHOIS privacy despite it being easy for them to obtain.
So you’d need the default to have WHOIS privacy, and an opt-in to put your own contact information…which isn’t too different from the current landscape. NameCheap, Porkbun, I think Google Domains, etc. all offer WHOIS privacy by default.

My manager had a regularly scheduled all hands meeting, which included a lot of people. He ambushed me (in a good way) with a tribute to me. It started out with the intro music to the def sec podcast and a slide with some funny things I instituted/commonly said at work. There was a parade of people saying nice things and then he asked me to say some words. I held it together for about 30 seconds and then, me an oversized, over the hill seasoned vice president of a Fortune 500 company, broke down crying in front of several hundred people.
Anyhow, I hope your Thursday is good.

I suspect this might be related to one of the audio formats being unsupported, I know Apple has some issues with that. Perhaps you should look into what formats are compatible and how to transcode them properly with ffmpeg.
TBH most if not all media platforms (including Mastodon) transcode, it's only the tiny little blindy ones that don't.

I didn't see any listed, but not sure how this list of sites can be maintained without it.
Obviously involving people with disabilities to test and evaluate is critical too. Automated testing will only ever get so far.
