You know, the CAQ designs these labour shortages in health care, social services and education sectors, eh.
NONE OF THESE LABOUR SHORTAGES ARE BY CHANCE, NOT IN 2025!
First, w/ its laïcité BS, READ: WAR ON FABRIC AND JEWELLRY, etc.
Second, w/ its lack of testing/tracking/tracing/reporting/isolation protocol, etc. for COVID-19 AND ignorance of Long COVID, etc.

If elected, François Legault promised to “aim for zero equalization” and “eliminate the wealth gap with the rest of Canada.”
After 7 years of CAQ rule, Québec’s reliance on equalization—federal transfers to the provinces—has only grown!

“This is how the federal government can help municipalities and provinces get criminals off the streets, disrupt and dismantle criminal networks, reinforce the justice system with tough and comprehensive bail reform and build a stronger, safer, more secure Canada,” the prime minister said.
Carney also said that tomorrow he will be making make “an important announcement on border security.”

Dawn Farrell, the head of the federal government’s Major Projects Office, believes the Trans Mountain oil pipeline helps fight climate change.
Speaking Thursday at the House of Commons environment committee, the former CEO of Trans Mountain who was tapped by Prime Minister Mark Carney to shepherd his major projects agenda, was asked by Bloc Québécois environment critic Patrick Bonin if she believed the pipeline contributes to the fight against climate change.
“The answer is yes,” Farrell said. “Most of the oil is cracked to make naphtha which goes into petrochemicals, which goes into making electric cars, to electrify the grid in Asia.”
Farrell, who told the committee she earns about $700,000 per year in her role at the Major Projects Office, did not offer any estimate for how many emissions she believes are avoided by using oil to help produce electric vehicles.
According to the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, by facilitating more oil exports, the Trans Mountain expansion project is expected to add 84 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions every year when taking into account both the emissions from producing and consuming the oil.
“Trans Mountain is a financial drain and an environmental disaster, and it's not reassuring to know that the CEO who finalized the project now heads the Major Projects Office,” Bonin said in a statement.

We could also fund (open source) software to also become less dependent on the US enshittification. The hundreds of millions of tax payer money that go annually out of the Canadian economy to fund US oligarch could fund a lot of Canadian sovereign *open source* software. Licensing is a key point here as well.
I have an idea. Instead of giving billions to a war monger for a so called "shield", why can't we use these billions to build a resilient infrastructure in Canada, notably infrastructure for a "Canadian cloud" that is vendor neutral and can work without any connection to the US.
Subsidising the GAFAM to build data-centers is NOT that. It's just tax cut to american companies.

Prime Minister Mark Carney raised the Keystone XL oil pipeline, which would run from northern Alberta to the U.S. Midwest, during his conversations with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday, according to a source with direct knowledge of the meeting.
The source said Carney expressed renewed national interest *(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's Alberta)* in the pipeline from the Canadian side and the U.S. president was receptive to the project advancing.
Remember if you vote Conservative, unless you are filthy rich, you vote against your own interest. On. Every. Aspect. Of. Your. Life.
You can write to your MP. You can write to the Minister of Health. You can also write to your MLA / MPP / MNA at the Province level, but chance that they listen, or can do anything are slim. Namely the wack jobs at the helm of both AB and QC....
Remember. If your Province doesn't offer free COVID vaccines to all it's because the tax cut for the rich at the Federal level make they no longer supply to the provinces. So the provinces have no obligation to care.
Two Governments failing their citizens doesn't make a success.

The Govt want Canada Post to remove home delivery and switch to (communal) boxes around the corner.
I lived in suburbia eons ago where this was the norm. I can tell that many time mail wasn't delivered in the winter because the boxes were not accessible (snowed in), Given the recent record of the city in clearing the street, I can tell you this would be worse.
Canada Post is a service, not a consumer product. The idea that it operates at a "loss" is stupid. It's like saying schools operate at a loss; hospitals operate at a loss; roads operate at a loss; sewers operates at a loss.
We pay for public services collectively, because they are simply needed for our society for function and for everyone to have (relatively) equal access to participate in culture/society/democracy.
Stop reducing necessary services to an income statement!
