Trump is truly an audacious jackass. He doesn’t want Walmart to raise prices in response to the costs of his tariff idiocy. He wants them to eat the losses b/c when consumers see higher prices, he knows they’ll point fingers at him, and lay the blame at his feet — where it belongs. Sheer cowardice.
I’ve no sympathy for Walmart. The company is greed incarnate. It’s just that Trump’s temerity is beyond measure.

Farmers say they need foreign markets, but other countries impose #tariffs on their goods in #retaliation for Trump’s tariffs. That cuts them off from the foreign customers they need.
Most #Republicans stood up to applaud #Trump’s announcement that he would impose reciprocal #tariffs on April 2, but several remained seated, including Sens #LisaMurkowski (Alaska), #SusanCollins (Maine) & #RogerWicker (Mississippi).
