Codex just perfectly avoided a bug that I would have never thought about if I was writing that code myself. It was one of these suptle, pernicious issues that make your code return slightly wrong results instead of crashing, so it definitely could have slipped by unnoticed.
In that same session, it also introduced an unexpected change I've never asked for, and one I wouldn't have found without that careful code review, so those tools clearly aren't perfect yet. There's no question about whether they improve productivity any more, though.

So where's that promise? As it turns out, that message is very generic and placed there for everyone, regardless of whether your computer can or cannot download updates. It honestly freaked me out, but then I imaged my desktop's Win10 image onto my Spectre, and since it didn't have the update, I was surprised to still see that message there but grabbing the security update. I'm opted into the Extended Security Updates program, because I can't risk running an OS that's not officially supported for consumers on the machine I work from. But to be honest, I'm more concerned about apps discontinuing support for Windows 10 long before I stop receiving security updates. Particularly corporate/secure ones like 1Password and Slack.

Eventually I may end up migrating to Linux but Electron apps there like Slack would really royally suck. I'm seeing software already enforce a requirement for build 19045, which is why I did the unofficial upgrade to my LTSC to use 22H2, and I think at least until the ESU program itself ends (hearing 3 years max potentially for it) software should continue to support particularly if it's used in enterprise scenarios, which is good. I know this because you can open that 22H2LTSC.exe file in 7-zip, and find the same files as from the .msu plus an install script .bat file that runs and does this, so yes, it's safe for sure, just packaged as a single .EXE file instead.

Y'all, at some point down the line, Chrome turned the History search textfield into a pop-up menu that opens along with it as you search, and I'm not sure if I can ever forgive them for it unless it changes. Global Sumud Flotilla today: ───── Six Global Sumud Flotilla participants are still held hostage by Israel after being illegally abducted in international waters. One Nigerian participant from the Omar Al-Mukhtar Flotilla and 145 participants of Freedom Flotilla Coalition and Thousand Madleens to Gaza are also still in detention.

Is society really teaching men that women need to be coerced to date them? I see this often, one of my friends goes on a date with some guy, she isn't that into him, and politely turns down a second date, and then he wants this complete breakdown as to why not, and what the problem is, and how she's not even giving him a chance.
Why would you want to keep trying to date someone who just wasn't that into you?
Don't get me wrong, rejection hurts, but it's part of life. Maybe it's movies showing women just waiting for men to call, idk. I don't speak for all women, but if I like a guy or gal, you aren't going to have to convince me, and if you try, that's a pretty big red flag. On the plus side, if you can call it that, the assholes usually betray themselves here, it usually ends in calling the woman a fat ugly slut or some variation, with promises that she'll be sorry when she's a lonely cat lady. So, I guess you at least know how big of a bullet you dodged.
