Anyone using the Blade Player for Spotify, Deezer, SoundCloud?

It wasn't updated since 12/2023, but still sees more than 100 installs per month here. In its issue tracker, there are reports of crashes, and Spotify being broken. Does it still work for you? Or should we rather remove it?

Need some #Ceph advisory for my private cluster on #proxmox:

3 nodes with 2x 18 TB HDD each.

According to some docs I found, WAL/DB size should be 1-4% of the disk size, so a SSD should be between 180 to 720 GB for each disk or 360 to 1.44 TB for the two disks in each node.

Is this still be true or is it nowadays more relaxed and - let's say - 200 GB for each HDD will be sufficient?

The Android Airplay client DroidPlay (apt.izzysoft.de/packages/com.t…) hasn't seen any update for 10 years. We still see regular downloads from F-Droid clients for it. As there are not many alternatives, we'd still keep it in our repo if it's still useful.

Anyone here using it? Does it still work, or should we rather drop it?

Ich war mehrmals dabei. Da waren jeweils, nach meiner Erinnerung, so 150 bis über 200 Teilnehmer.

We see still a lot of downloads for Blade (apt.izzysoft.de/packages/v.bla…) – despite the app being seemingly abandoned, and issue tracker plus other reports say "Spotify broken", "Deezer broken", "App crashes"…

Anyone here using the app without issues? As it seems to be in higher demand, we hesitate removing it. Though the downloads could just be single-try, fails, delete…

I'm new to the @debian game.
I just saw in the documentation "Upgrades to Debian 13 "trixie" from the previous release, Debian 12 "bookworm", are automatically handled by the APT package management tool for most configurations. "

However, my debian didn't offer me upgrade in any way. Do I have to install a specific upgrade package?

Currently I'm using a standard installation based on KDE.
Or is upgrade only supported in gnome stock software packages?

I checked the @gajim issue tracker for PKIX over Secure HTTP (POSH) support and it looks like it was implemented already 5 years ago: dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim/-/is…

But I can't find the setting in the current #Gajim version and didn't managed to connect to my #xmpp server so far which uses "PKIX over Secure HTTP" for ssl verification.

The domain zwezo.o-k-i.net automatically creates mirroring #Mastodon #bot accounts upon any #Twitter handles put into their search field, without authorization by the original Twitter profile owners.

I doubt, this is #legal, under EU law at least & find it highly #disturbing, that anybody can create bot accounts referring to others, who are neither aware of this nor authorized this in person.

I just realised that the logo I hacked together for my current project fails to render on Windows:
