Recently finished a PhD in cybersecurity, but quit academia right away. I just can't work there lol. I work in data by day, but Im a fulltime human rights activist and have spoken at various fora against digital dictatorship and BigTech's regulatory capture. I am a socialist and I have been for awhile now. I am working closely with various grassroot movement particularly within the digital rights/labour space.

I am into FLOSS, #privacy and #humanrights. I have foul mouth and I own it. Outside of my activism, I enjoy walking my dog, Heidi, #vegan food, gaming, programming #python, #dadjokes and makeup.

I checked the @gajim issue tracker for PKIX over Secure HTTP (POSH) support and it looks like it was implemented already 5 years ago: dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim/-/is…

But I can't find the setting in the current #Gajim version and didn't managed to connect to my #xmpp server so far which uses "PKIX over Secure HTTP" for ssl verification.

The domain zwezo.o-k-i.net automatically creates mirroring #Mastodon #bot accounts upon any #Twitter handles put into their search field, without authorization by the original Twitter profile owners.

I doubt, this is #legal, under EU law at least & find it highly #disturbing, that anybody can create bot accounts referring to others, who are neither aware of this nor authorized this in person.

I just realised that the logo I hacked together for my current project fails to render on Windows:

This seems to affect all browsers on #Windows and no browsers on #Linux/BSD.

Can anyone with www/graphic skills help me figure out what's going on and how to fix it?
