Уффф, вернулась днём из родного города! Ещё вчера утром там было минус 2, тихая, благодатная погодка. Потом стало холодать: на 10 градусов, на 20...
А здесь, в Екатеринбурге, тридцатиградусный кусачий мороз. Промерзаешь буквально за пару секунд. Да ещё и в поезде снова было холодно.
Завтра, надеюсь, произойдёт развиртуализация: повидаюсь с очень хорошими, близкими по духу ребятами из Подмосковья. Предвкушаю приятнейшую встречу!
I will stop maintaining and running the Conversations Compliance Tester¹.
The Compliance Tester was originally a small command line tool used to verify the configuration of your XMPP server. A GSoC project turned it into a web service that quite frankly is becoming a burden to run.
The architecture is fine considering it was written by a student; but not great.
At a time where most XMPP server have very sane default configurations it has outlived it's usefulness.

The new bundle analyzer for esbuild now has the ability to visualize the CommonJS/ESM breakdown of your bundle: esbuild.github.io/analyze/. Click on the CJS vs. ESM bar at the top to toggle it (requires the latest version of esbuild). Using ESM over CommonJS almost always improves performance, so this should be a useful bundle optimization tool.
I also spent way too long making these stripes split and merge while zooming. It was a fun little graphics puzzle.
